Barbara Ann Horstmeyer, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 13, 2018 in Evansville, IN.
Born on October 11, 1926 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late William and Frances (Alterkruse) Huber.
Barbara was married to Richard Horstmeyer, who preceded her in death on October 26, 2011.
She was a beautician and an active choir member of Our Hope Lutheran Church in Huntertown for over forty years.
Barbara is survived by three sons; Rev. Kirk Horstmeyer (Shelly,fiance), Dr. Gregg (Joyce) Horstmeyer and Dr. Rick (Kathleen) Horstmeyer and a daughter in law Judy Horstmeyer; a sister, Diana (Robert) Halter; two brothers, Franklin (Nancy) Huber and Joseph (Lois) Huber; nine grandchildren;Jenni, Ryan, Kira, Markus, Hannah, Paul, Philip, Jason and Isaac and ten great grandchildren;Breyton, Jersey, Beckett, Jaize, Bannon, Jovie, Baina, Landon, Sydney and Conor.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of more than 61 years, Richard Horstmeyer; two sons, Mark Steven and Philip John Horstmeyer; two sisters, Jeanne Millikan and Doris Huber; two brothers, Lloyd Huber and Roger Huber.
Calling will take place at Our Hope Lutheran Church, Huntertown on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Services will begin at 11:00 AM, at Our Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
