Janice Kay Brineman, 58, of Churubusco passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born in Whitley County, on May 14, 1961, to Don and Joan (McCoy) Hyndman. She spent her formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1979. Following high school, she graduated from Indiana Business College.
Janice was married to James "Jim" Brineman in Churubusco, on June 29, 1985.
She worked as a paralegal for Hunt Suedhoff Kalamaros LLP for 30 years only stopping in the middle to raise her children.
She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Janice is survived by her husband, Jim Brineman, a daughter, Kimberly (Adam) Goble; a son, Roger (Gladys Ryes) Brineman; her father, Don Hyndman; a sister, Debra (Landry) Linn; three grandchildren, Avery, Greyson and Alyssa.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Joan (McCoy) Hyndman and a grandson, Everett Rhys.
Services will take place at Churubusco United Methodist Church on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 2:00 PM, with calling one hour prior to the service.
Family will also receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 8. 2019, from 2:00 PM, until 5:00 PM.
Burial taking place at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
