Lois Edith (Holt) Grim

Obituary

Lois Edith Grim, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Bright Star Senior Living.

She was born on October 9, 1930, in Lake Township, Allen County, Indiana, to the late Paul and Edith (Felger) Holt. She spent her formative years in Lake Township.

Lois was married to Maurice "Morry" Grim on January 20, 1952. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2009.

Lois retired from Essex Group in Fort Wayne in 1996 after 26 and a half years of service.

She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed sending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, reading and volunteering at the St Matthew's Food Bank.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Michael) Bojrab and Scott Grim; four grandchildren, Kiana (Adam) Hartman, Micah (Sydney) Bojrab, Steven Grim, and Joshua Grim; seven great-grandchildren, Blake, Noah, Easton, Camden, Ellington, Logan and Aiden.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Holt; two sisters, Ruth Krotke and Dorothy Duff-Harmeyer; a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Hartman.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church-Lake Township, with calling one hour prior to the service.

The family will also receive family and friends at the church on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 3 to 7 p.m.

Burial will take place in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.

Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church-Lake Township or St. Matthew's Food Bank.
