Timothy "Tim" Lee Berdelman, 60, of Huntertown, passed away peacefully, on November 24, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Fort Wayne, on May 10, 1960, to the late Dave and Dora (Whan) Berdelman. He was a life-long resident of Huntertown, graduating from Carroll High School in 1979. He then attended Purdue University.
He worked for Northwest Allen County Schools for the last 19 years. He started as a bus driver and then served the last several years as a head custodian.
Tim was a patriot and outdoorsman. He had an entrepreneur spirit and was a life-long business owner. He enjoyed agriculture and supported 4-H and the Allen County Swine Club. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends including Amy Kenseth.
Tim is survived by his children, Jennifer (Andrew) Bartscht, Daniel Berdelman and Jamie Durkee; his twin brother, Tony Berdelman; a nephew, David Berdelman; his two grandchildren, Wyatt and Piper Bartscht.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Berdelman; two aunts, Carol Higgenbotham and Sally Warner.
Services will take place at Lifehouse Huntertown Campus, Lima Road (Old 3) on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. with calling one hour prior to the service.
Family will also receive friends at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home Huntertown Chapel, 16830 Lima Road (Old 3) on Monday, November 30, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
