William “Bill” Clark

January 8, 1941 ~ March 5, 2019 (age 78)


William H. Clark, 78, formerly of Churubusco, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.

Born in Woodburn, on January 8, 1941, to the late, Joseph and Mabel (Jump) Clark. He spent his formative years in Waterloo, graduating from Waterloo High School in 1959. After his service in the United States Navy, he attended IPFW from 1966 - 1968.

William was married to Coleen Fralick in Fort Wayne, on March 18, 1967.

He retired in 2001 from General Electric, where he was an enamelar for 34 years.

He liked to read, golf, play softball, watch Cubs baseball and IU basketball.

William is survived by his wife of 51 years, Coleen Clark of Auburn; a son, Steven (Cheri) Clark of Dacula, GA; a daughter, Michelle (Lavon) Wirtz of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ercal Tuto and Mary Watkins; two brothers, Robert and Ralph Brown.

Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2019, at 5:00 p.m., with calling starting at 2:00 p.m., until the service.

Burial will take place at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
