Adabelle Hart

Adabelle Hart, 88, of Churubusco, passed away on March 18, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Oakland City, IN, on January 3, 1932, to the late Lowell and Fern (Bass) France. Adabelle was married to Gailen Hart in Wolcottville, on November 28, 1953. She worked at Dana Weatherhead in Columbia City, before retiring from Silgan after 15 years. In her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, church, reading and traveling the country camping with her husband. Adabelle is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gailen Hart; a son, Gregory (Norma) Hart; three daughters, Denise (Mike) Ritchison, Addie (Patrick) Stoner and Carol Thompson; two brothers, James and Joe Ed France; a sister-in-law, Mary Jo France; 12 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelly Wysong-Tate; a grandson, Brandon Hart; three brothers, Jerry Doan, Dewayne and Gene France; a sister, Aileen Tyring. A private family service will be held. Burial taking place at Christian Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
