Alexander Arthur "Alex" Noah, 24, a former resident of Churubusco and son of Howard G. Noah of Issaquah, Washington and Mary M. (Tomlins) Noah of Columbia City, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the home of his father where he had been living for the past one and one half years. Alex was born in Columbia City on December 21, 1989. He spent his formative years in Churubusco and was valedictorian of the Churubusco High School Class of 2008. He attended Purdue University for over two years before moving to Issaquah. While living there he had been employed as a computer hardware tester for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. The surviving relatives in addition to his parents include two aunts Patty (Mario) Zambrano of Charlotte, North Carolina and Dorothy (Kevin) Jacobs of Walkerton; two cousins Christopher Jacobs and Cindy (Neil) Butt; and his maternal grandmother Cecelia Tomlins of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his brother M. Michael Foor on April 17, 1997. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Pastor David Biberstein of Pathway Community Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 8 p. m., or one hour prior to the service.
