Alice Jackson

Alice L. Jackson, 90, of Laotto, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at her home. Born in DeKalb County on June 3, 1927, she was a daughter of Walker E. and Edyth (Reed) Flowers. She was married on December 18, 1948, to Harold R. Inlow. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1953. She was then married on September 5, 1961, to Paul L. Pepple. He preceded her in death, tragically, on January 1, 1962. Later she was married on November 25, 1965, in Albion, to Richard Jackson. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2004. She was a long-time member of Agape Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed gardening, farming and loved spending time with her family. Alice is survived by a son, Michael Inlow of Baltimore; a daughter, Jane Pepple of Kendallville; three grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Inlow and Julie Saalfrank; and three great grandchildren, Ava, Jenna and Olivia. In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by a son, DeWayne Inlow; two sisters, Aileen Flowers and Wauneita Patee; a brother, William Flowers. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 PM and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Calling also one hour prior to the service at church. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., at Agape Church of the Brethren on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn.
