Ann M. Stoll, 67, a resident of rural Albion and wife of James R. Stoll, passed away at 8:16 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015, at the Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. She had been in failing health for several months, and had been a patient there for the past two weeks. Mrs. Stoll was born on January 21, 1948, a daughter of Howard E. and Maxine (Pion) Feagles, and lived near Avilla as a child. The family later moved north of Fort Wayne, and she graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1966. On August 15, 1970 she was married in Huntertown to James R. Stoll. The couple lived the early years of their marriage near Fort Wayne, but spent most of their married lives in Noble County. Employed in the offices of The Lincoln Life Insurance Company in Fort Wayne for 35 years, she retired from there in 2003. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, enjoyed wintering in Florida, and most especially loved and cherished her family. The surviving relatives include her husband Jim; her brother Jerry (Marlene) Feagles of Churubusco; a sister-in-law Sharon (David) Byerley of Avilla; her mother-in-law Lois Kathryn Stoll of Avilla; her five nieces Michelle (David) Grim of Fort Wayne, Melissa Byerley of Bloomington, Nicole (Josh) Springer of Ossian, Sarah (Nick) Holmes of Churubusco, and Tiffany (Josh) Hass of LaOtto; four great-nieces and four great-nephews. Her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Thomas Eggold, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and from 6-8 p.m., or one hour prior to the service Thursday morning. Interment will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
