Anna Jetmore, 100, of Huntertown, passed away on November 16, 2024, at her home.
She was born on March 20, 1924, in Portland, to the late Frank and Odelia (Wagner) Laux.
She was married to David H. Jetmore in Fort Wayne, on February 13, 1945. Together the couple raised their 11 children in Huntertown. David preceded her in death on June 15, 1998, after 53 years of marriage.
Anna was a woman of great strength and love. She was a dedicated employee at Dana in Churubusco, from where she retired after more than 20 years. Her perseverance and hard work were a testament to her character. However, it was her family that mattered most to her. She nurtured and loved her family with all her heart, and her love and care left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Anna is survived by her children, David (Cheri) Jetmore, Joyce (Chuck McCoy) Ternet, Robert (Rhonda) Jetmore, Timothy (Debbie) Jetmore, Carol Jetmore, Harry Jetmore, Odelia (Stan) Searles, Mariane (Keith Gouldin) Gordon, Joseph Jetmore, and Jeffrey (Norma) Jetmore; a son-in-law, Randy King; a brother, Ralph Laux; a sister, Stella Burns; 31 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, & six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia King; four sisters and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon, Thursday, November 21, 2024, St John Bosco Catholic Church, with calling beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel.
The family will also receive family and friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Burial will take place in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Arcola.
Memorials may be directed to St. John Bosco Catholic Church for Mass or Noble County Humane Shelter.
