Anthony Griggs

Anthony "Tony" E. Griggs, 43, of Churubusco, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at his home. He was born in Fort Wayne, on December 23, 1979, to Roderick and Stephanie (Foti) Griggs. He spent his formative years in Fort Wayne and attended Northrop High School. Tony was a landscaper and also enjoyed working at the speaker workshop. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music with his daughter. Tony is survived by his daughters, Ashlynn Chester and Natalee Griggs; his parents, Roderick and Stephanie Griggs; his four siblings, Roxanna (Timothy Miller) Stone-Miller, Nicholas (Christy) Griggs, Darcy (Stacy) Griggs, and Samantha Griggs; several nieces, nephews and great-nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, with calling beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the Eel River Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Ashlynn Chester in C/O Nicholas Griggs. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
