Barbara Gensheimer

Barbara Gensheimer, 70, of Churubusco, passed away at 3:00 am on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Miller's Merry Manor in Columbia City. Ms. Gensheimer was born on November 26, 1944 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a daughter of Joe and Lucille (Durnell) Roach. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, and graduated from New Haven High School in 1963. She was employed for many years as a Home Health Care Aid. Ms. Gensheimer was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #157 in Churubusco. The surviving relatives include three sons, Eddie Gensheimer of Churubusco, Christopher Gensheimer of Bradenton, FL, and Jason Gensheimer of Chipley, FL; two sisters, Sandy Harman and Janet (Richard) Ranney both of Churubusco; a brother, Joe (Amy) Roach of Churubusco; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, William "Bill" E. Roach.
