Barbara Hyndman

Barbara J. Hyndman, 84, of Churubusco, passed away on February 25, 2022, at Miller's at Oak Pointe in Columbia City. She was born in Wabash, on August 19, 1937, to the late Robert and Miriam (Young) Weesner. She spent her formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1955. Barbara was married to Roger Hyndman in Churubusco, on June 16, 1957. Roger preceded her in death on December 9, 1984. She worked as a secretary at Churubusco High School for 32 years. She was a member of the Churubusco United Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed traveling and working in her flower garden. Barbara is survived by her two sons, Terry (Linda) Hyndman and Mark (Laurie) Hyndman; her sister, Carolyn (Kenny) Bultemeier; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a half-brother, Verling Weesner. Services will take place at the Churubusco United Methodist Church on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with calling one hour prior to the service. The family will also receive friends at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial taking place at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
