Betty Adams

Betty E. (Strong) Adams 84, of LaOtto passed away October 13, 2017 at Provena Sacred Heart Home Avilla. She was born December 30, 1932 in Whitley Co. to the late Charles W. and Lila B. (Raypole) Strong. She spent her formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School. She married Dale E. Adams on March 14, 1954. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1994. She was a Cook at Farmers Corner in LaOtto. She loved to cook and bake for her grandchildren. Survivors include son Larry (Shelly) Adams of LaOtto; four grandsons, Jeremy (Jennifer) Lutter and Jason (Amanda) Lutter both of LaOtto, Justin and Jarid Adams both of LaOtto; a sister Lucille Proegler of Avilla; a sister-in-Law, Lavon Strong of Avilla; two great grandchildren, Brian and Makale Lutter. In addition to her parents a husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Linda K. Lutter and her brother Cecil Strong. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday October 16, 2017 at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, with one hour calling prior to service. Visitation will be Sunday October 15, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating Pastor Paul White from Churubusco Nazarene Church.
