Beverly Ann Thompson, known as Bev, was born in Monroeville on March 26, 1941. She passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025.
Bev worked as a bank manager at the Star Bank in Fort Wayne. She retired in 2000.
Bev and her husband, Tom, enjoyed vacationing around the US on their Goldwing. For many years, Bev was the secretary of the GWRRA in Fort Wayne. She was an avid Komets fan and a season ticket holder for 20 years. She loved her grandchildren.
Bev is survived by her two sons, Doug (Cindy) Thompson and Chris (Andrea Kidd) Thompson; her daughter, Jill (Sam) Trahin; eight grandchildren, Krystal Hurley, Gabe (Colleen) Jacks, Megan (Josh) Kemery, Brad (Jannelle) Thompson, Mandy (Andy Sherwood) Trahin, Kendra (Shea) Greve, Stacie (Cal) Jacquay, Sara (Chris) Howard; 13 great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Mason, Luke, Loghan, Jayden, Sadie, Penelope, Beau, Jaxton, Elliana, Charlotte, Sully, and Cooper.
Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Thompson; her father, Ralph Ternet; her mother, Marietta Mills; daughter-in-law, Sherri Thompson; brother, Dan Mills; stepfather, Harry Mills; and stepmother, Faye Ternet.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, with calling one hour prior.
Burial will take place at the Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
