Bill Warstler

Billy Eli Warstler, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on June 22, 2020, at Byron Health Center. Born in Dekalb County, on September 30, 1935, to the late Roy and Laura (Bishop) Warstler. Billy was married to Mary Ann Shutt in Garrett, on January 5, 1958, and moved from Garrett to Churubusco where he had lived until moving to Byron Health Center in 2002. She preceded him in death on August 25, 2014. He worked as a security guard for many years, and finally he worked at Byron Health Center. Mr. Warstler attended the Merriam Christian Chapel. The surviving relatives include his two daughters, Jennifer Jennings and Laura Warstler; a son, Robert (Angela) Warstler; three brothers, Gene (Janet) Warstler, Alva (Janet) Warstler and Clifford (Carol) Warstler; a sister, Margie Woodcox; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his spouse and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Anders. Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service.
