Born on April 9, 1930, in Churubusco, to Emanuel "Snick" and Mabel (Cotton) Geiger. She was raised on the family's farm just outside of town where she learned an incredible work ethic and the importance of family. Farming the land, milking the cows, and harvesting the garden to provide food for the family as part of her everyday life. She graduated from Churubusco High School in 1948. Bonnie was married on June 1st, 1952, to Glen L. Nicodemus in Churubusco. They were married for 63 years before he preceded her in death on June 18, 2015.
