Bryce G. Fitch, 83, a former resident of Huntertown, passed away at 12:10 p. m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Life Care Center in Fort Wayne following an extended illness. Mr. Fitch was born in Huntertown on March 27, 1927, a son of Maurice Keith and Lois Marie (Byerley) Fitch, and graduated from Huntertown High School in 1946. A former employee of the Wayne Candy Company in Fort Wayne, he moved to Long Beach, California in 1974 and lived there for 20 years before returning to Allen County in 1994.e While living in Long Beach, he worked as a parking lot attendant at Doctor's Hospital in Lakeland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Noel Fitch in 1993. The surviving relatives include his niece Nancy Fitch of Austin, Texas; and four nephews Miguel Cisneros of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Anthony Cisneros, Vincent Cisneros, and Richard Cisneros, all of La Habra, Calif. Graveside services will be held at 10 a. m. on Monday, February 7, 2011, at the Huntertown Cemetery with Rev. Greg Hiatt, pastor of Huntertown United Methodist Church, officiating.e Interment will follow.
