Carol E. Grogg, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on May 25, 2021, at Parkview Hospital Randallia.
She was born in Kendallville, on September 17, 1941, to Robert and Eileen (Crofoot) Wendt. She spent her formative years in Kendallville, graduating from Kendallville High School in 1960.
Carol was married to Phil Grogg in Kendallville, on March 3, 1963.
She enjoyed doing crafts, quilting, knitting, cross-stitch, and sewing. She really just enjoyed all crafts. Carol was also a fan of old cinema and ghost movies. If they had Don Knotts or Jane Austen in them, she liked it.
Carol is survived by her husband of 61 years, Phil Grogg; her daughter, Katherine Dague; a grandson, Cory Allen (Savannah Collins) Dague; three sisters, Renee (Ed) Meehan, Jan (Ron) Williams, and Paula Bacon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Alice) Wendt and Eileen (Paul) Kemberly; two brothers, David Wendt and Joel Wendt.
Funeral services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 28, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Burial taking place at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett.
