Carol Wagner

Carol D. Wagner, 86, of Huntertown, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016, at Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Avilla. Mrs. Wagner was born on December 25, 1929 in LaGrange County, Indiana, a daughter of Virgil and Eva (Rossman) Marks. She spent her formative years in Kendallville and graduated from Kendallville High School in 1947. On August 2, 1953, she was married in Kendallville to Richard H. Wagner and moved to Huntertown. Mrs. Wagner was a member of Our Hope Lutheran Church - Huntertown. Her spouse preceded her in death on October 12, 2012. The surviving relatives include daughter, Wendy Wagner of Kouts; son, Robert (Leanne) Wagner of Laotto; grandsons, Landon (Amy) Wagner of Columbia City, Austin (Andrea) Wagner of Huntertown, and Benjamin (Katie) Wagner of Churubusco; brother, Wayne (Gloria) Marks of LaGrange; sister, Mildred Zolman of Tacoma, WA; eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Huntertown Cemetery, Huntertown.
