Carolyn Sue Ianucilli, 62, of Churubusco, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Wayne, on January 8, 1960, to the late Bertie and Hanna (Asher) Patton. She spent her formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School. Carolyn worked for Viant Medical as a machinist. She enjoyed her work and spending time with her grandchildren. Carolyn is survived by three sons, Josh Ianucilli, Chris (Laura) Ianucilli, and Ian "Puddin" Penn; two brothers, Larry (Allison) Patton and Pat (Sandy) Patton; two sisters, Millie (Steve) Creech and Patti (Brian) Kline; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren, Dominic, Angelo, Vinny, Hudson, Madison, Wyatt, and Lillian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two brothers, Bob and Michael Patton; five sisters, Phyllis McLaughlin, Gail Patton, Helen Miller, Shirley Farrell, and Jo Ann Patton. A private funeral service will be held. The family will receive family and friends at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco. Memorials may be directed to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
