Caryn Freeman

Caryn Henline Freeman, 58, a resident of Fort Wayne, passed away at 8:35 a. m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.e She had been in declining health for the past two years, and had been seriously ill for the laste month. Ms. Freeman was born on July 30, 1951 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Robert E. and Betty L. (Harman) Henline.e She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne and graduated from Snyder High School in 1969. In 1984 she was married to Wesley Freeman, and lived much of her adult life in the western part of the United States.e He preceded her in death on September 25, 1997, and in 2002 she returned to Fort Wayne. For the past five years she had been employed at NAL Worldwide in Fort Wayne. The surviving relatives include her sons Brian L. Jones of Aurora, Colorado, Robert E. Jones of Kendallville, and Eric T. Jones of Fort Wayne; a sister Sue Ellyn (Stephen) Dannenfelser of Fort Wayne; a brother Gary L. (Sue) Henline of Phoenix, Arizona; and a grandson Gabriel Griggs of Fort Wayne. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at the Westview Alliance Church, 9804 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne, with Pastor Jason Schlatter, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church after 1 p. m. on Thursday until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Poe Cemetery.
