Catherine Tulley

Catherine S. Tulley, 52, of Columbia City, passed away at 4:38 a. m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Tulley was born on June 17, 1961 in Columbia City, a daughter of Larry L. and Bonnie (Cox) Burns. She spent her formative years in Columbia City, and graduated from Columbia High School in 1978. On April 23, 1995 she was married in Whitley Co., IN to Ricki Dale Tulley, and moved to Columbia City where she had lived for her entire life. She was a loving mother, daughter, and grandmother. Mrs. Tulley was a member of Tri Lakes Baptist Church. Her spouse preceded her in death on March 28, 2013. The surviving relatives include her mother - B0nnie Burns of Columbia City; a son - Michael (Ciera) Tulley of Columbia City; twin daughters - Desirae Tulley of Columbia City, Haley Tulley of Columbia City; two brothers - Dan (Tina Palmerton) Burns of Albion and Rick Marker of Fort Wayne; sister - Deb (Scott) Slayton of Huntington; a granddaughter - Addison Tulley. In addition to her spouse, she was preceded in death by her father Larry L. Burns. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Pastor Brad Fredrickson, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the South Park Cemetery Annex, Columbia City.
