Cathy Griffis, 66, of Huntertown, passed away at her home on January 10, 2024.
She was born on November 18, 1957, in Fort Wayne, to Wesley and Donna (Ruffing) Adams. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne and graduated from Elmhurst High School.
She was a retired assembly worker from Dana in Fort Wayne, where she dedicated her skills to the automotive industry until her retirement in 2008.
Cathy was known for her adventurous spirit, often found kayaking or indulging in her passion for mushroom hunting. In addition to her commitment to the food bank, she was an active member of the Cultivate Church in LaOtto. In all her pursuits, Cathy brought a sense of joy and commitment that was infectious to all who knew her.
