Chadwick Wayne Sloffer

Chadwick Wayne Sloffer, 48, of Fort Wayne, passed away on September 20, 2026. He was born on May 13, 1978, in Fort Wayne, where he spent most of his life. Chadwick was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Chadwick had a genuine passion for cooking and spent many years working as a cook at the Tower Bar & Grill, where he formed lasting friendships and created many fond memories. He took pride in his work and enjoyed the time spent with those around him.

A devoted Denver Broncos fan, Chadwick enjoyed cheering on his favorite team. He also spent countless hours playing his favorite video games and had a special love for animals. His cats held a special place in his heart, providing companionship and bringing him great joy throughout his life.

Chadwick was a loving father and will be deeply missed by his children, Cleopatra Schiffli-Sloffer, Alexander Sloffer, and Maximus Sloffer. He is also survived by his parents, Gary and Sharon Sloffer; brothers, Brett (Sue Ellen) Sloffer and Jaren (Shannon) Sloffer; and sisters, Melissa Lambert and Kristen (Phil) Plasterer; his companion, Amy Frontz; and his bonus children, Alena and Shaun.

Chadwick's life was filled with the simple things that brought him happiness-good food, family, friends, his favorite team, video games, and the companionship of animals he loved dearly. The memories he created with those closest to him will continue to bring comfort to his family and friends.
