Charles Hansen

Charles Christian Hansen, 63, of Churubusco, passed away on November 11, 2021, at his home. He was born on November 22, 1957, to the late Melvin and Valda (Gilbert) Hansen. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School. Charles was married to Musange Shyaka in Columbia City, on November 22, 2019. He has worked as a Project Manager for C & A Tool in Churubusco, since 1983. He was a member of the Churubusco VFW Post #3846 Auxillary. Charles loved his family and friends. He enjoyed watching sports and making people laugh. He was a fan of Notre Dame Football. Charles is survived by his wife, Musange Hansen; his son, Jeremiah (Alexis) Hansen; his daughter, Elyse (Mark) Bueno; two step-children, Fred (Jill) Kamuzinzi and Stephanie Simba; four brothers, Ronald Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Rex Wilson and Steve Wilson; two sisters, Ginny Collett and Marsha Kelly; four grandchildren, Luke, Carter, Mila and Max and one step-grandchild, Rylii. To celebrate Charles' life the family will have a gathering at the Churubusco VFW Post #3846, on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 4 p.m. until the last person leaves or the post shuts down.
