Charles Jones

Charles E. Jones, 82, of Albion, passed away on January 6, 2019, at Orchard Pointe in Kendallville, IN. Born in Huntington, VT, on May 7, 1936, to the late, Clifford and Hazel (Mitchell) Jones. He spent his formative years in Connecticut. He worked as a tree surgeon with Knapp Tree Services in Fort Wayne for over 50 years. Charles is survived by one son, Charles (Brenda) Jones Jr.; two daughters, Della Swinson of FL, Lori (Chuck) McCarthy of New Haven, CT; two brothers, Orvis Jones of CT, John Jones of CT; one sister, Lorriane Layn of KY; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Jones; two brothers, James Jones and Kenneth Jones; daughter, Linda VanDawater and grandson, Christopher VanDawater.
