Charles Kellogg Sr.

Charles E. "Chuck" Kellogg Sr., 79, of Churubusco, passed away on April 16, 2021, at his residence in Churubusco. Born in Fort Wayne, on August 3, 1941, to the late James and Mildred (Thatcher) Kellogg. He spent his formative years in Fort Wayne, graduating from Central High School in 1958. Chuck served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1962. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Essex. Charles was married to Judith "Judy" Lindguist in Nashville, TN, on September 1, 1959. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2011. He worked as a Supervisor of Building and Grounds at Fort Wayne Community Schools for 46 years, retiring in 2010. Charles is survived by three sons, Charles (Maryellen) Kellogg, David Kellogg and Matthew Kellogg; two grandchildren, Alex (Felicia) and Drew (Brittany) Kellogg; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert, James (Linda) and Kenneth Kellogg. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth K. on December 5, 2018. Funeral Services will take place at Faith Lutheran Church, 9251 E. SR 205, Churubusco, IN, 46723, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 5-7:00 p.m., at the church. Burial taking place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials to Faith Lutheran Church.
