Clarence Mccormick

Clarence G. McCormick Jr., 72, of Avilla, passed away on June 20, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born July 20,1946, in West Virginia, to the late Clarence and Eva (Smith) McCormick Sr. Clarence married Charlotte Biglow on August 14, 1965, in Fort Wayne. He was the owner of McCormick Excavating and Sewer Service. Clarence is survived by his wife, Charlotte; one son, Jon (Julie) McCormick of Avilla; one brother, Jerry (Jan) McCormick of Churubusco; seven sisters, Jean (Jack) Burgess of Columbia City, Gloria Foust of Fort Wayne, Sue (Jerry) Gibson of Columbia City, Judy Stopher of Fort Wayne, Alice (Tom) Jennings of TN, Linda McCormick of Fort Wayne and Pansy (Stan) McCoy of Churubusco. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy B. McCormick on May 24, 1993. Memorial Services will take place at 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, 206 N. Main Street, Churubusco. Family will receive friends Thursday 4:00 PM, to start of service at 6:00 PM. Memorials to his sister-in-law, Jan McCormick for her medical expenses.
