Connie Miller

Connie J. Miller, 68, a resident of Churubusco and wife of Richard N. Miller, passed away at 8:15 a. m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at her residence. Although she had been in declining health, her death was unexpected. Mrs. Miller was born in Fort Wayne on August 11, 1946, a daughter of Phil and Betty (Garrison) Miller, and spent her formative years in the North Manchester-South Whitley areas. She attended North Manchester Schools, and graduated from Rock Creek High School in 1964. A homemaker, she spent most of her adult life in the Churubusco-area and had lived at her present home since 1970. On September 3, 1965 she was married in Kimmell to Richard N. Miller. He survives. Also surviving is her daughter Susan (Jim) Crowell of Huntertown; a brother James (Cindy) Miller of Leesburg; and two grandchildren Katherine Crowell and Matthew Crowell. Her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Greg Hiatt, pastor of Huntertown United Methodist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p. m., or one hour prior to the service Wednesday morning. Interment will be in the family plot at the Mt.
