Corrine (Campbell) Paul, 52, a resident of rural Grabill and wife of William "Skip" Paul, passed away at 12:46 p. m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. Corrine was born in Columbia City on March 2, 1961, a daughter of Jerry Lee and Karen (Whittaker) Campbell, and spent her formative years in Green and Swan Townships in Noble County. She attended Smith-Green Community Schools and graduated from East Noble High School. On August 16, 2005 she was married in Fort Wayne to William G. "Skip" Paul, and had lived near Grabill since her marriage. A homemaker, she had also completed the Master Gardner and Master Naturalist programs at IPFW. She was president of the ladies auxiliary of Jack Brinker American Legion Post 409 in Grabill, and had also volunteered as a girl scout troop leader. The surviving relatives include her husband William "Skip" Paul; a daughter Amanda Robbins of Fort Wayne; her parents Jerry and Karen Campbell of Columbia City; and her siblings Dennis J. (Barbara) Campbell of Albion, Timmothy (Sandi) Campbell of Corunna, Sheryl Ann Campbell of Columbia City, and Joseph C. Campbell of Camby; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a. m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 8 p. m., or one hour prior to the service Saturday morning. Interment will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
