Craig Tallent

Craig Allen Tallent, 48, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 11, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Wayne, on October 31, 1972, to Larry Tallent and Susan (Kitzmiller) Springer. He spent his formative years in Huntertown, graduating from Carroll High School in 1991. Craig was married to Denise Marr in Fort Wayne after a long courtship. The couple has devoted their lives to raising their daughter, Remmington. He worked as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union. He also spent several years working for Cooper Tire in Auburn. Craig was a collector of coins and trinkets, but his love was motorcycles. He enjoyed riding, as well as working on bikes and building them. Craig is survived by his wife, Denise Tallent; daughter, Remmington Tallent; his father, Larry (Sharon) Tallent; his mother, Susan (Kim) Springer; his brothers and sisters, Bill Tallent, Ame Phillips, Rachel (Scott) DeBolt, Adam (Laura) Tallent, William (Mary Jo) Parrish and Brian (Sarah) Parrish. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Zachary Tallent. Funeral Service will take place at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1098 Co. Rd 39, Waterloo, IN 46793, on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. The family will also receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Huntertown Chapel, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Burial taking place at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
