Cynthia S. (Archdale) Miller 58, of Churubusco passed away Saturday September 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1959 in Canton, Ill to Willis and Shelba (Taylor) Archdale. She graduated from Cuba High School in 1977 and received her Associates degree in teaching from Western Ill University. She was a business teacher at Wilmington High School and also was the volleyball coach. She also was a teacher at Job Corp in Golconda, Ill, most recently she worked on the family farm. She was a member of the Indiana Haflinger Horse Association. She attended Wallen Baptist Church where she also worked in the nursery. She loved animals and loved showing draft horses and working on the farm raising ducks. She married Dennis Miller on August 4, 1999, he survives. Survivors include three daughters Whitney Davis of Churubusco, Amanda (Jake) Meyer of Urbana, Ill and Krissy (Cliff) Skees of Bardstown, KY, three sons Travis Davis of Champaign, Ill, Justin (Sarah Oliver Fiancee) of Cape Girardeau, Ill, Mitch (Jayne) Miller of Louisville, KY, two grandsons Grayson Miller and Oliver Meyer, mother Shelba Franklin of Cuba, Ill, three brothers Jeff Archdale of Coulterville, Ill, Tim (Carrie) Archdale of Cuba , Ill and Tom (Debbie) Archdale of Canton, Ill and a sister Carol (Dave) Swallow of Leroy, Ill Preceded in death by father Willis Archdale. Funeral Services will be Friday 11:00 October 6, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home 221 E. Main Street Arcola, Ill 61910 With calling one hour prior to service. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home 206 North Main Street Churubusco, IN 46723. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 at Edwards Funeral Home.
