Dale A. Crabill, 77, of Churubusco, passed away at 3:32 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, at his home. He was born in Churubusco, on May 3, 1941, to the late Cledith "Tiz" and Florence (Krider) Crabill. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1959. Dale was married to Norma Egolf in Churubusco, on February 18, 1961. He retired from Kwik Lok Corp in New Haven on April 13, 2012, after 48 years of service. He also owned and operated with his family the H & O Sports Shop in Churubusco from 1978 to 1994. Dale was a member of the Churubusco United Methodist Church, the Whitley County Barnstormers and the Model "T" Club. He loved spending time with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed building and flying RC Planes and Helicopters, restoring antique cars, fishing, taking rides through the country and going "RVing". Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma Crabill; his son, Dave (Amy) Crabill; two daughters, Melanie (Nathan) Killworth and Jodi (Chad) Keener; his sister, Beverly (Hurshell "Bud") Nelson; his brother, Max (Wilma) Crabill; eight grandchildren, Trevor (Brittney) Crabill, Kelary (Landen) Clodfelter, Alayna (Derek) Gordon, Katee (Joshua) McBride, Ross (Shannon) Killworth, Jessica (Zach) Ferry, Autry Keener and Grace Keener; nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Doug Lucker, officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service Burial will take place at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
