Dale Tarr

Dale E. Tarr, 35, of Kendallville, passed on July 26, 2020, in Avilla. Born in Columbia City, on October 26, 1984, to Levi and Lisa (Allman) Tarr. Dale was married to Cara Portmess in Churubusco, on August 24, 2013. He worked as a tool maker at Creative Liquid Coating in Kendallville. Dale was an amazing husband and father. His family was his life. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, gardening, planting flowers and coaching the "Knightmares" youth football team. He was always the life of the party. Dale is survived by his wife, Cara Tarr; a daughter, McKenzy Lynn; three sons, Levi Allan, Connor Lee and JT Xavier; his mother, Lisa (Byron) Trout; a sister, Mallory (Dalton) Carroll; a brother, Justin (Leanna) Tarr; his mother-in-law, Rhonda (Brad) Beazell and father-in-law Darryl Portmess; three sisters-in-law, Ashley (Derrick) Pearson, Kirby (Eric) Flory, Kassandra (Dalton) Slain; three brothers-in-law, TJ Beazell, Bradly (Rachel) Beazell and Joel Hines. He was preceded in death by his father, Levi Tarr in 1999. Services will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2020, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at the Funeral Home.
