Danny Bowser

Danny K. Bowser, 62, of Churubusco, passed away at 8:00 am on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Mr. Bowser was born on February 11, 1951 in Auburn, a son of Wayne W. and Betty (Miller) Bowser. He spent his formative years in Churubusco. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed at Harvester in Department 38 for 11 years. Mr. Bowser was a member of American Legion Post 157 and Churubusco VFW Post 3846. The surviving relatives include a daughter, Starr Barrand of Churubusco; a son, Shawn (Jamie) Roesler of Columbia City; five brothers, Ronald (Peggy) Bowser, Wayne A. Bowser both of Churubusco, Randy L. Bowser, Paul R. (Julia) Bowser both of Albion, and Tom (Carol) Bowser of Shalimar, Fl.; three sisters, Nancy (Junior) Anderson, Roxie (John) Scherer, and Melody (Mike) Bueker all of Churubusco; two grandsons, Tyler Sparklin and Raymond Barrand; and two granddaughters Lily Roesler and Laney Roesler. He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne W. and Betty (Miller) Bowser Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Chapline Britney Sloffer, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
