Darlene Schinbeckler

DARLENE F. SCHINBECKLER, of Churubusco, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 at Hospice Home. Born Sept. 9, 1948 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel (Zehr) Leavitt. Darlene was a retiree from (Dana) Mahle in Churubusco. Darlene is survived by daughter, Tami Longardner and granddaughter, Jade Longardner of Churubusco; two brothers, Garry Leavitt of St. Joe and Rod (Dawn) Leavitt of Auburn. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Walko. The family will receive friends for a memorial calling from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Churubusco (IN 46723). In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Visiting Nurse &Hospice Home.
