David B. Brady, 87, of Churubusco, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018, at Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.
Born in Fort Wayne, on November 1, 1931, to John and Elsey (Conner) Brady. He spent his whole life in Green Township.
After high school David served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
David married Sueanne Pounds in Fort Wayne, on May 22, 1954. She preceded him in death on
January 13, 2015.
He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and belonged to the Operating Engineer Union and received his 65 year pin.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ege.
The surviving relatives include his five children Delene (Don) Vandewalker of Churubusco, David (Sherrie) Brady of Churubusco, Douglas (Glenda) Brady of Albion, Daniel (Tracie) Brady of LaOtto, and Dawn (Curtis) Stauffer of Churubusco; 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sueanne H. Brady and a great-grandson, Dalton Brady.
Calling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, from
4:00 PM, until 8:00 PM. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 8:00 pm., calling also one hour prior to the mass on Thursday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Ege on Thursday, December 20, 2018.
Burial will follow at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
