David Bratten

David L. Bratten, 77, of Francesville, passed away at 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Parkview Haven in Franceville, Indiana. Mr. Bratten was born on April 29, 1937 in, Fort Wayne, a son of Isham and Pauline (Case) Bratten. He spent his formative years in Daleville and Graduated from Daleville High School. He was employed at Kraft Foods in Kendallville. Mr. Bratten enjoyed the Chicago Bears and Nascar, among other sports. The surviving relatives include son, Ron (Ruby Shepherd) Bratten of Churubusco; a daughter, Robin (Everett) Shonk of Francesville, IN; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his two sons David L. Bratten, II and Chris Bratten. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Gudeman, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
