David Kuehner

David A. Kuehner, Sr., 72, of Columbia City, passed away at 6:45 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at his home in Columbia City. Mr. Kuehner was born on February 27, 1941 in Fort Wayne, a son of Joesph and Lenora (Wynnican) Kuehner. He spent his formative years in Fort Wayne, and graduated from Central High School in 1959. On June 18, 1974 he was married in Fort Wayne to Martha Scott, and moved from Fort Wayne to Columbia City where he had lived since 1975. He was employed at Dana Corp. Syracuse, and retired in 2004 after 30 years of service. Mr. Kuehner was a member of the UAW local 1405. The surviving relatives include wife, Martha Kuehner of Columbia City; three sons, David A. (Pam) Kuehner Jr. of Greenwood, Lloyd (Michelle) Barker of Columbia City, and Keith (Diane) Kuehner of Van Buren; five daughters, Tonya (Mike) Warner of South Whitley, Tammy (Todd) Kinsey of Fort Wayne, Kim (Paul) Shinn of Woodburn, Billie Jo (Larry) Desormeaux of Avilla, and Shannon (Kevin) Benson of Columbia City; three brothers, Don (Becky) Kuehner, Ron (Bonnie) Kuehner, Tom Kuehner; a sister, Nancy (Sam) Meredith; 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two brothers Bill and Ed Kuehner At the family's request there will be no visitation.
