David R. Page, 71, of LaOtto, passed away on June 25, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Waukegan, IL, on September 28, 1953, to the late Paul and Lucille (Egolf) Page. He spent his formative years in Noble County and graduated from East Noble High School. After high school, he served in the United States Air Guard.
David was married to Nellie Young on January 20, 1973, at Merriam Christian Chapel Church. Together, the couple raised two children on their farm in Noble County.
He was fondly known for his love of farming, his profession at UPS, and his cherished role in his family. David's life was characterized by his love for God, his family, and adventure, which was evident in his passion for traveling in his motor home and big family trips, his seven-year stint flying power parachutes, and his love for flying. Even in the winter months, he found joy in his travels to Florida, and his passion for God was evident in his desire never to miss attending church, no matter where he was. His generosity was well-known; he was always ready to give his time and talents. His life's legacy is his family.
David is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nellie Page; his daughter, Marla (Jason) Wymer; his son, Brian (Audry) Page; his four sisters, Sherry (Glen) McCoy, Paula Page, Judy Womack, and Doris Pence; his brother, Harold (Pam) Hill; his five grandchildren, Garrett, Molly, Brayden, Isaac, and Austin Jack.
