Dawn Gunder

Dawn M. Gunder, 51, of Albion, passed away at 5:16 a.m., on Sunday, July 8, 2018, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne on March 27, 1967, she was a daughter of James and Darlene (Stanek) Clifford. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne and graduated from Northrop High School in 1985. Dawn was married to Randy Gunder in Albion on August 29, 1987. She has worked at Lutheran Hospital as a cardiovascular surgical assistant since 1986. She served on the Albion Town Council and has Co/Owned Gunder Leasing for 32 years. Dawn is survived by her husband of 30 years, Randy Gunder; her son, Josh (Arian) Gunder; her daughter, Emily (Justin) Coney; her mother, Darlene (Roy) Young; six sisters, Kim (Rich) Morley, Tami (Jason) Springs, Amanda Miller, Susan (Tom) Ellis, Linda (Randy) Collins and Barbara Elbretch; four grandchildren, Taya, Teagan and Thea Coney and Owen Gunder. She is preceded in death by her father, James Clifford. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 2 until 5 p.m. Services will begin at 5:00 p.m., at on Saturday, July 14, 2018.
