Delmar E "Bud" Felger, 90, of rural Allen County, passed away on October 27, 2020, at Lutheran Life Villages at Pine Valley in Fort Wayne.
Born in Lake Township, Allen County, on September 7, 1930, to the late August and Mildred (Weisenburger) Felger. He spent his formative years in Allen County, graduating from Arcola High School in 1948.
Delmar was married to Marilyn Benzinger on July 10, 1960. She preceded him in death on March 20, 2018.
In addition to farming his family farm, Bud retired from Dana Corp., Fort Wayne in 1995, after 36 years working as a machinist.
Bud was a long-time member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lake Township. He was also a member of the Allen County Farm Bureau and the Tri-State Two-Cylinder Club.
Bud is survived by a daughter, Janet McQuain of Fort Wayne; a son, Kevin (Linda) Felger of Huntertown; three grandchildren.
In addition to his parent and wife, Bud was preceded in death by his sister, Marcella Schaefer.
Calling will take place at St. John's Lutheran, Lake Township, on Sunday, November 1, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Calling also one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran, Lake Township, on Monday, November 2, 2020.
Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church, Lake Township.
