Dennis Fick

Dennis Allen Fick, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 26, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Wayne, on September 26, 1957, to the late Edward and Margaret (Hemsoth) Fick. He spent his formative years in Allen County, graduating from Carroll High School in 1975. Dennis was a man of many talents. He enjoyed helping people, especially running to the aid of someone in need of help with their furnace or refrigeration. He had worked for more than ten years for Advanced Mixer as a supervisor. In 1999, he went out on his own as a handyman. He would always come to the aid of anyone in need. Dennis is survived by his sister, Diane (Andrew) Swihart; a niece, Hannah Swihart; a nephew, Daniel Swihart; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial in the Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco. A memorial fund will be set up in Dennis's name for a scholarship into the Electrical or HVAC trades, C/O Sable International, LLC.
