Derrick Max Roe "Roeshow", 53, of Churubusco, passed away on February 18, 2024, in Fort Wayne.
He was born on April 4, 1970, in Fort Wayne, to the late Donald Max and Mary Ellen (Longerbone) Roe. He spent his formative years in Fort Wayne and graduated from Northrop High School.
Derrick, a dedicated employee at Morris Sheet Metal and a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20, lived a life filled with the exhilaration and camaraderie of dirt bike racing, which mattered most to him. His passion for the sport was infectious, inspiring those around him with his unyielding determination and fearless spirit.
Derrick is survived by his daughters, Paige (Braxton) Siddons and Ali (Tyler) Rottger; his companion, Jennifer McGuire; his stepfather, Jim Martin; his sisters, Sabrina (Doug) Teague, Danielle Petrie, and Heather Woods; four grandchildren, Palmer, Monroe, Bensen, and Kampton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Max Roe and Mary Ellen Roe-Martin.
A funeral service will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service.
The family will also receive family and friends at the Funeral Home, on Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The burial will take place at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
Memorials may be directed to the family to offset funeral and monument costs.
