Deryl "Joe" Longardner

Deryl "Joe" Joseph Longardner, 73, of Churubusco, passed away on February 19, 2019, at Kingston Care Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Noble County, on October 22, 1945, to Henry F. Wilks and Martha (Foote) Longardner. Joe worked at Navistar for over 30 years. He served in the US Marine Corp. Reserves. Joe is survived by a daughter, Tami Longardner of Churubusco; a granddaughter, Jade Longardner; two sisters, Cheryl (Mike) Kline of Angola and Rose (Donald) Greve of Churubusco; two brothers, Pierre (Susie) Longardner of Churubusco and Gerald (Diane) Longardner of Avilla. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha (Foote) Longardner; father, Henry F. Wilks; adoptive father, Gerald Longardner; two brothers, Paul Longardner and John Philip Longardner. Memorial calling will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 12 PM to 4 PM, at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, 206 N. Main Street, Churubusco, IN 46723. Memorials to American Lung Association.
