Dewey Rigsby

Dewey R. Rigsby, 54, a resident of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 24, 2017 at Glenbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Fort Wayne on March 7, 1962, a son of James and Eldora (Eagleson) Rigsby. He enjoyed turning wrenches and the pursuit of perfection Dewey is survived by his mother Doris (Eagleson) Rigsby; a son, Steven Thompson; a daughter, Alyson Rigsby; a granddaughter; and his nephews and niece. He is preceded in death by his father, James Rigsby and a sister Lorena Dohm and a brother Judd Rigsby. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., or one hour prior to the service. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Friday, March 3, 2017. Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
