Dianne Kay Green, born on December 20, 1943, in Wolf Lake, Indiana, spent her 79 years on earth living a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community. Known for her creativity, wit, and love for adventure, Dianne's life was a testament to the words, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Through her passion for gardening, love for boating, and adventurous travels across South America, Dianne painted her life's canvas with vibrant colors of joy, love, and faith.
Dianne was a loving wife to Robert Green, her husband of nearly 60 years, and a doting mother to Matthew, Anita, and Rick. Her laughter filled the homes she helped build, including their custom lake home in Tri Lakes, where she showcased her keen eye for decorating. A dedicated homemaker, Dianne was always ready to give a guiding hand or share a witty joke, bringing comfort and laughter into the lives of her loved ones. With her unwavering faith, she served as a lifelong member of the Blue River Covenant Brethren Church, teaching primary Sunday School and beautifully decorating the church with flowers. Dianne also served on various committees within the church.
Dianne's love extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will remember her for her stories and the memorable trips they took together. Professionally, she was a graduate of Churubusco High School (1962), International Business College (1963), and later worked as an executive secretary for Lincoln Life. Later, she worked alongside her husband Robert at their family-owned business, Country Mill Cabinet Company. Despite her professional achievements, what mattered most to Dianne was her family and faith.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Robert Green; her children, Rick (Paula) Green, Anita (Scot) Martin, and Matthew (Kimberly) Green; grandchildren, Cameron Green, Tori (Daryl) Rimer, Molly (Daniel) Woll, Meredith (Clay) Sickafoose, Alexander Green, Yovani Green, Anthony Martin, and Ashley (Kyle) Bolyard; great-grandchildren, Remington, Taylee, Steyr, Colton, Bronson, Charlotte, Whitley; with two more great-grandchildren on the way.
