Dolores Lesch

Dolores Lesch, 94, of Churubusco, passed away on February 8, 2022, at Kingston Care. She was born in St. Louis, MO, on October 13, 1927, to the late Fredrick and Gertrude (Breite) Temke. She worked for General Metal Products, in St. Louis as a secretary. She worked there for several years up to her retirement in 1992. Before that, she had worked for McCabe Powers in St. Louis. Dolores enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Dolores is survived by her children, Janet (Rev. Lane) Burgland and William (Laura) Lesch; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorna Bognar and Ruth Tegtmeyer. A private family service will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Sunday, February 13, 2022.
