Don Brock

Don E. Brock, 75, of Huntertown, passed away on September 6, 2022, at Bethlehem Woods. He was born in Pineville, KY on July 14, 1947, to the late Ed Brock and Ida (Beverly) Smith. He was drafted into the U.S. Army where he received the Distinguished Service Metal during his service in Vietnam. Don married Billie Joe Smith on May 17, 1968, in Tazewell, TN. He was an avid hunter and loved fishing at Lake Okeechobee. Don was a big fan of Kentucky Wildcat basketball. He worked in maintenance at Tokheim for 37 years, retiring in 2002. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Billie Joe; one daughter, Heather (Shane) Silver; and a very proud papaw of Emily Sue Silver; two sisters, Regina (Mark) Poenix and Mary Brock; many nieces and nephews. Don is preceded in death by five sisters, Jean Wiseman, Paula Donahue, Martha Jackson, Diana Brock, and Sharon Luker; one brother, Danny Brock.
